Firstie Janae McNeal and cow Madison Hovren both received Patriot League postseason honors on Friday afternoon. McNeal picked up Patriot League All-Defensive Team recognition for the third consecutive year, while Hovren received her second straight all-league award by being named to the second team. A key piece in the backcourt for the Black Knights, McNeal pieced together a stellar senior campaign. In her final season on the banks of the Hudson, she appeared in all but one game, while averaging 10.1 points, 4.5 rebounds and a team-best 2.6 assists per contest. She connected on 45 percent of her shots from the floor, which ranked seventh in the league. Her 39 steals were good for second on the team. Hovren, who was a first team all-league member a season ago, turned in another impressive campaign for Army. She led the team in scoring and rebounding for the second straight year, finishing with 14.6 points and 9.8 rebounds per outing. She tallied 17 double-doubles and seven 20-point performances.
