Catholic Chapel Choir 13th Annual Outreach

The Cadet Catholic Chapel Choir, directed by Mrs. Schlegel traveled to Easton, PA for the 13th consecutive year to conduct their annual outreach event. Accompanying the choir were Dr. Kowalski (D/CLS), LTC Robertson (ACI) and Mrs. Lapisardi, the incoming Music Director for Most Holy Trinity. The trip was an excellent developmental experience for the Cadets, especially the Choir President, CDT Maddie Crimmins ‘18. Housed with the generous families of the host parish, St. Rocco's in Martins Creek, PA, cadets sang in the musical liturgy of one service on Saturday and two Sunday with a total congregation of approximately 500. This event is a once a year opportunity to interact with members of the community in Easton where we have been conducting outreach for over a dozen years. However, due to mandatory training this year’s trip section was limited to 1st and 2nd Class Cadets. Fortunately for the seven First Class Cadets, they had this last opportunity to socialize with their sponsor families. Many of the firsties have developed close relationships with their sponsors over the last four years and this was a special time to spend with them before they graduate.
