Following a four-point weekend, Alex Wilkinson of the Army West Point hockey team was named the Atlantic Hockey Association Defensive Player of the Week. Wilkinson scored Army's first two goals in Friday's 5-1 win over Bentley on Friday and recorded an assist. The yearling finished the weekend with two power play points. He scored the game-winner on Friday to mark the fourth of the season. With his two goals on Friday, the Raleigh, N.C., native posted his first multi-goal game and eighth multi-point game in his career. He now boasts 14 power play points to rank tied for sixth.
