Semester Abroad in Amman Jordan

Cadets studying in Jordan had a busy first few weeks, settling in and getting the lay of the land. AMIDEAST provided the cadets with a tour of the city Amman learning about its geography and the city's rich culture and history. One of the highlights was the Citadel in Jabal Amman, where cadets visited the ancient Roman ruins. This first tour was politically and culturally rewarding, as cadets experienced the city from the perspective of a local tour guide and see the layers of civilizations that previously occupied the area of modern-day Jordan.
