Seven cadets braved December conditions to spend some time on the famous Willowemoc Creek. The water temperature was frigid which meant sluggish fish that did not cooperate. While there were no fish caught, the cadets had a great day out in nature and the on the water instruction focused on swinging nymphs/streamers and on indicator nymphing with more experienced cadets taking on a teach/coach/mentor role to the less experienced.
