Army West Point Men's Basketball saw Tommy Funk named the Army West Point Athlete of the Week following his impressive performance over the weekend. Funk matched his career-best in back-to-back outings at the Papa John's Bulldog Bash, hosted by the Citadel. Click here to watch the video: https://youtu.be/0_khwrVmFC8. He helped Army claim the title by averaging 16.0 points, 7.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game. The yearling shot 52.6 percent from the floor, 40.0 percent from long range and missed just one of his 11 free throw attempts. For those efforts he took home tournament MVP honors. He and the rest of the Black Knights are back in action Wednesday when they travel to Binghamton for another out-of-conference game. That contest is slated for 7 p.m. and will be carried on ESPN3.
