Civil and Mechanical Engineering (CME) Launched the first monthly High Performance Computing (HPC) Brown Bag lunch this month to highlight HPC-related research and curriculum development, and to encourage collaboration within the Academy and beyond. Every month moving forward, faculty, staff, and cadets interested in HPC will have a forum to highlight their work, exchange ideas, build collaboration, and learn more. The first speaker was Dr. Aaron Freidenberg of CME who spoke about Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations using HPCs.
