The Spanish Language and Cultural Club celebrated a Día de los Muertos, or the “Day of the Dead” event at the Train Station in West Point. The OIC, Dr. Amell, and the Cadets enjoyed traditional Mexican food and decorations and were also presented with a ceramic, human-sized skull, characteristic of the holiday, to design as they saw fit. The results were impressive and the cadets enjoyed being able to integrate themselves into a Mexican cultural practice as well as using their creativity to decorate their skulls.
