Clik here to view.The Third Annual USMA High Performance Computing Workshop introduced participants to the numerous resources available to the USMA community through the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (HPCMP). The workshops were open to all students and faculty members at West Point and represents a collaboration between the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Civil and Mechanical Engineering (CME) departments. The first hour of the workshop, led by Dr. Matthews of EECS, presented an overview of the available systems and guided participants through the process of logging-on, transferring files, and submitting jobs via the command line interface. The second hour of the introductory workshop, led by Dr. Koleci of CME, addressed project creation and management. Dr. Freidenberg of CME co-coordinated the workshop.
