Pollard '04 Visits Engineering Economy

Chris Pollard, owner and founder of Great Path Planning visited the Department of Systems Engineering to discuss financial planning and “all things money” with Engineering Economy cadets. Mr. Pollard is a Certified Financial Planner and entrepreneur. After leaving the Army, Mr. Pollard knew he wanted to work with people and work with numbers and he turned those passions into a thriving business helping over 1,000 individuals with their finances. Mr. Pollard opened his discussion with information on his background and then allowed cadets to ask any questions they had on finances. Topics ranged from “Should I take the Cow Loan?” to “What are good financial habits?” Mr. Pollard offered advice from both the Financial Planner side and from the prospective of a former officer.
