Fireside Chat with Christina Halpern

Excel Scholar cadets and faculty attended the Second Fireside Chat of the 2018 academic year. The guest speaker was Christina Lewis Halpern, Founder and Executive Director of All Star Code; a leading, nationally-recognized tech inclusion organization based in New York City that fosters entrepreneurial talent among high school boys of color and ensures they have the tools to succeed. Christina Halpern discussed how her father, Reginald Lewis, influenced her work ethic and how she approaches achieving her goals. Her father was the first African American to build a billion-dollar business.
