"Flow and Focus" at the Mounger Writing Center

CDT Anton Nelson ’19 conducted “Flow & Focus,” part of the Mounger Writing Center’s Wednesday Night Workshop series. CDT Nelson led six cadets, all of whom attended voluntarily, through techniques for enforcing cohesion through the development of key terms and nuanced transitions in thesis statements and across body paragraphs. He emphasized hands-on techniques and alternated between walking cadets through examples from his own writing and workshopping of their papers in progress. Wednesday Night Workshops are designed for cadets, but anyone is welcome to attend. A full schedule is available at usma.edu/wpwp.
