Head of the British Staff visits USMA

BG James Carr-Smith, British Military Attaché and Head of the British Staff in the US, visited USMA. During his visit, he ate with cadets in the mess hall, toured the campus, and gave a lecture on the future of NATO and Brexit to a group of 50 cadets. BG Carr-Smith spoke in depth about the importance of the British-American Alliance and the reemerging threat Russia poses to NATO. Following his lecture, he had dinner at the Thayer hotel with a small group of SOSH faculty. BG Carr-Smith enjoyed his visit and the cadets who interacted with him benefited from his perspective.
