Four cadets and one EECS faculty member successfully passed the FCC Element 2 exam and earned their Technician Class Amateur Radio license at a test session held in Jefferson Hall, soon after the FCC will issue their callsigns. Mr. Charles Schooler (D/EECS), Cadets Alexander Weisser ’18, David Bindon ’19, Frank Medici ’19, and Anthony Lavagnino ’20 spent the last previous month attending license exam prep-sessions that provided them with a learning forum in which to better understand the FCC regulatory policies and technical expertise required to pass the exam. The club would like to especially thank local area amateur radio operators for assisting as Volunteer Examiners: Joe DeLorenzo, Mark Copeletti, Bruce Baccaro, and Mark Halabuda as well as club members.
