Late Penalty Kick Lifts Women's Rugby Over Norwich

The Army West Point women's rugby team overcame a 15-point deficit to defeat the Norwich Cadets 32-29 in a second-half thriller Saturday afternoon in Northfield, Vt. Army improved to 2-2-1 in NIRA play, while Norwich dropped to 2-0-2. Yearling Sam Sullivan propelled the Black Knights' offensive run after she posted their first try, cutting the deficit to 10. Cow Dameria Morton and yearling Sally Varner both posted one try each in the second half of the game. Plebe Abrianna Williams documented the final try, which was good to tie Norwich at 29.
