Cadets attend the Annual Quadrille Ball

LTC Breuer and his spouse, MAJ Emery and her spouse, along with two members of the German Forum, cadets Parker ’18 and Craven ’20 attended the annual Quadrille Ball in New York City. The Ball is part of the Germanistic Society of America and supports scholarships for students desiring attendance in the Fulbright program, the Institute of International Education (IIE), and Columbia University. The cadets were given the opportunity to interact with some of the most influential individuals in New York City while positively representing West Point. They were able to practice some of their German language skills at the ball, as many of the attendees were native German speakers. This was a wonderful opportunity for some cadets as well as German instructors to support the New York City engagement initiative.
