Gymnastics firstie Leo Genders, men's track and field yearling Kevin Dyer and women's track and field plebe Emily Malone were all recognized as tri-Army Athletic Association Athletes of the Week. Genders, who hails from Lancaster, Ohio helped lead the gymnastics team to a 405.850-402.800 Star Meet victory over Navy last week with season-high performances in each of his routines. The Black Knights trailed the Mids after three events, but, fueled by Genders, the Cadets turned out outstanding scores on the vault, parallel bars and high bar to overtake their rivals. Genders boasted a 14.600 on a stunning high bar routine to mark the second straight week as the champion of that event.
