Army West Point women's track and field team brought home two Patriot League Weekly honors for their performances at the Virginia Tech Invitational. Briyah Brown captured her second straight M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Field Athlete of the Week and freshman Bethany Nunnery was selected as M-F Athletic Patriot League Female Rookie of the Week. Brown placed third in the shot put at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a toss of 14.52 meters. Her shot put distance is behind only her own for the top mark in the Patriot League this season. She also finished fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 17.30 meters, the second-best mark in the Patriot League this season. Nunnery captured gold in the 5,000-meter run at the Virginia Tech Invitational with a time of 17:45.93. Her time is the second-best in the Patriot League and 35th-fastest in the nation this season.
