Forward Plebe Rex Epps was recently selected to the College Soccer News All-Freshman third team after tying for first in the Patriot League with 11 goals during his first season at West Point. Epps was one of 35 freshman from the NCAA Division I ranks to be honored by College Soccer News, and was one of two from the Patriot League to be recognized, along with Loyola's Brian Saramago (second team). Epps scored 11 goals in 2016 to tie for first in the Patriot League with Bucknell's Sebastiaan Blickman. His 11 goals this past season were the most by a Black Knight since John Brence scored 12 times in 1988.
