AIChE National Student Conference

6 cadets attended the AIChE National Student Conference. Cadets attended several academic forums to include starting a chem-e car for the club, petroleum flow issues in industry, and chemical engineering in home brewing. These gave the cadets an opportunity to attend lectures of their choice and receive information from industry leaders. The following day the cadets attended poster presentations for chem-e cars. Over 40 teams were presenting and this gave the cadets access to their peers in other universities as well as garner information on building their own chem-e car for the spring regional conference. That afternoon was the chem-e car competition. This incite will be critical for their own chem-e car build. They briefed their poster to many judges and peers to include an AIChE Fellow Dr. Eckhardt. They presented on the chemical engineering problems and solutions of the Kicking Mule Brewery. Not only was their topic unique but it was presented expertly and all who saw it were impressed by their professionalism and knowledge.
