CLS Research Highlighted at the NYASM Conference

Cadet Jordan Isham presented at the Eastern New York American Society for Microbiology (ASM) meeting in Albany, New York. Cadet Isham’s talk entitled “Preventing Nosocomial Infections in an Age of Multi-Drug Resistance: Attacking the Biofilm” discussed findings of the research group. He was accompanied by the A/Director of the Center for Molecular Science LTC Hill and his research advisor LTC Eslinger. Jordan was one of four students selected to address the meeting based on the scientific merit of 30 submitted abstracts. Cadet Isham an International Studies major decided to pursue life science research based on his own interests outside of the classroom. Jordan is completing his third semester of Independent Research.
