Alpine Skiing Train in KillingtonMasterfit President and CEO Mr. Cohen brought along two of his master boot fitters to Cullum Hall to ensure the Army Alpiners have an exceptionally custom fit to get the most out of their performance on the ski runs this season. The Army Alpine Ski Team is headed up this year by its' Captain Aryne Riley ’17. The Army Alpine freestyle component is headed up by Jon (J.P.) Paul ’18. The team has talent and depth it has not seen in many years. After a few days of dryland training, the team headed up to Killington, VT for Veteran's Day weekend for a couple days of training on snow, to get the team back in their gear and bring back latent muscle memory to start shredding again for the upcoming season. While at Killington, Assistant OIC, Mr. Nate Loeb, OIC Bob Ryan, and Team Captain Aryne Riley took advantage of Veteran's Day and deposited a portion of SSG Leonard Loeb's remains (Veteran Medic of WWII - France and Germany) in the Green Mountains. SSG Loeb was a great lover of the outdoors and his son Nate picked Killington and the Army Ski Team as an appropriate venue and forum for the dedication to his Dad.
