Director/Producer Justin Roberts brought his film No Greater Love to West Point for a special screening before the theatrical release in the coming months. CPT Kevin Mott, who is featured in the film, also flew in from Stanford University where he is currently a Downing Scholar with the Combating Terrorism Center at West Point. The film depicts the journey of an Infantry Battalion in the Kunar River Valley of Afghanistan through the eyes of the Soldier. Justin’s goal in creating this film is to start the conversation about the need for the military and society to begin thinking about how to integrate Soldiers returning from war back into the community. It is through the loss and struggle, as the film suggests, that strong bonds between Soldiers develop. However, those bonds are difficult to maintain when soldiers redeploy.
