After scoring two goals in Army's weekend series at Robert Morris, freshman forward Brendan Soucie has been named the Atlantic Hockey Association Rookie of the Week, announced by the league Tuesday. Soucie scored two goals over the weekend for the Black Knights. The South Dennis, Mass., native notched his second career goal of the year Friday night with a bar-down shot to put the Cadets up 1-0. He then tallied the game winner on Saturday night, his second game winning goal of the season. The Black Knights improved to 3-2-1 on the year and 3-1-0 in AHA contests with their weekend split with the Colonials.
