Cadets Volunteer as Debate Coaches

Cadets Matlack and O’Dowd studying Persian for a semester in Tajikistan, volunteered as debate coaches at the American Corner located in the inner city of Dushanbe. American Corners in Tajikistan are partnerships between the Public Affairs sections of the United States Embassy and host nation institutions, with the goal of strengthening mutual understanding and deepening cultural, educational, and scientific exchanges between the people of the United States and Tajikistan.
