Jonathan Pitcher of Bennington College visited Patrick Query's EN351: World Literature class to discuss the work of Argentinian writer Jorge Luis Borges. Dr. Pitcher is a scholar of Latin American literature, philosophy, and history and the author of Excess Baggage: A Modern Theory and the Conscious Amnesia of Latin Americanist Thought. Students in EN 351 had been reading Borges's works pertaining to perception and reality, time, and the legacy of Don Quixote in Latin America.
