Pipes and Drums at the Bagpipe Memorial Parade

USCC Pipes & Drums performed in the NYPD Bagpipe Memorial Parade in lower Manhattan. Dozens of bands from Canada, Washington, Chicago, Marines, and the Northeast Regional played in the NYPD Emerald Society sponsored parade to commemorate those police officers lost in the line of duty, including 9/11. This was an important event to build bonds with other agencies, other bands, and other civil servants. The parade ended with respectful remarks by the Mayor, NYPD Commissioner, and others, to include a reading of police officer's names lost in 9/11.
