Army women's soccer player Samantha Sullenger was named the Army Athletic Association Athlete of the Week after her two-goal performance over the weekend. The Gaithersburg, Md., native scored Army's game-winner to hand the Black Knights their second victory of the season Sunday against Fairleigh Dickinson. Fortunately for the sophomore, the rebound fell right back at her foot, where she tapped it home into the left-hand corner of the net. The midfielder added her second tally and Army's final score in the 79th minute when she finished off a free kick. Teammate Clare Shea sent a brilliant cross into the back of the box, where Sullenger was waiting. She then one-timed the ball into the left corner for her third career marker. Read More
