Cadets in Taiwan Learn the Tradition of Moon Cakes

12 of the Cadets studying Chinese at Fujen Catholic University in Taiwan had the opportunity to take a tour of and participate in the production of Moon cakes. Moon Cakes are the traditional treat in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival in Chinese Culture. This year the date is 15 September, and the cadets will now have the experience of seeing how the traditional food is made, and learned a significant amount of history behind the practice.
