WEST POINT, NY - Newly commissioned Second Lieutenant Brooke Hepfer, a four-year member of the Army West Point women's soccer team, received the Lieutenant General Robert F. Foley Award of Honor at the 2016 Awards Convocation the day prior to receiving her diploma on May 21st. The award, established in 2008, was presented by Gen Foley, a Medal of Honor winner, to Cadet Hepfer for overcoming obstacles and difficult circumstances. As a sophomore, Hepfer torn all four ligaments in her knee following a collision in a Patriot League conference game against Boston University.
