WEST POINT, NY - Head coach Joe Alberici and the Army West Point lacrosse family celebrated the Class of 2016 and distributed 10 team awards at the program's year-end banquet recently at West Point's Kimsey Athletic Center. Alberici spent the majority of the event highlighting the contributions of nine seniors. The 11th-year coach focused on the group's outstanding character, unselfishness and commended their leadership on and off the field. The Class of 2016, which was commissioned during commencement exercises on May 21 at Michie Stadium, authored a 4-2 record against rival Navy after the win over the Mids in the Patriot League Semifinals. The class was part of back-to-back 10-win seasons, which no graduating class under Alberici had done prior to this season. Read More
