On June 1, the World War I Staff Ride in France studied the final offensives of the war and discussed some of the American actions. They visited the St Quentin Canal, where on 29 September, 1918 the combined forces of American, Australian and British troops battled the German Siegfried Stellung on the Hindenburg Line. They ended the day by visiting one of the most interesting cemeteries they've seen on this trip near Soissons.
