Congratulations Class of 2016! It was the Department of English and Philosophy's honor to recognize the graduating Firsties and several other Cadets on Thursday, 19 May, in the Haig Room at Jefferson hall. Cadet Samuel Kolling ’16 received the BG Carroll E. Adams Award for the best senior thesis. Mr. Adam Israel, grandson of BG Adams, traveled to West point to present Cadet Kolling the award for his work, "Stop Talking about Character: How Situationism Can Update Personal Ethics." Other honorees included Cadet Thomas Hinds ’16, Cadet Levi Knapper-Grant ’19, Cadet Edmund "Pat" Mullin ’18, and Cadet Malcolm Edgar ’17. Of the twenty-five graduating Firsties, twelve produced senior theses and eight graduated with honors.
