Cadet Meredith Shea and Eric Tao Studying Chinese in Beijing this semester had great opportunities to see two different sides of Chinese Culture. Eric spent the weekend in Xi’An on the side of a mountain (see Photo), while the local tourists had themselves edited into photos on the mountain. Meredith spent the weekend with her Chinese Roommate making and sharing a traditional Chinese meal. Eric pointed out the local tourists are more interested in telling their friends about where they have been rather than the experiences available.
