Skeet & Trap Takes First Place at the Clay Cup

Ten cadets from the USMA Skeet and Trap team travelled to Boston, MA, for the Clay Cup. There they competed against teams from Harvard, Yale, MIT, Fordham, UNH, and Northeastern. After 50 trap targets, 25 skeet, and 50 sporting clays, USMA successfully brought home the Clay Cup once again with a first place score of 349/375. Second place was awarded to the team from Yale with a score of 318; third place was awarded to the team from UNH with a score of 310. Additionally, the USMA team took home many other awards to include male and female “Highest Overall Score” awarded to CDTs Mitch Koellner and Carolee Schwarzer respectively.
