McMahon Named Patriot League Rookie of the Week

CENTER VALLEY, PA - Army West Point freshman Izzy McMahon earned Patriot League Rookie of the Week honors, as the league announced its weekly awards on Monday. The conference recognition is the first of McMahon's career and she becomes the second Army player to win the award this season after classmate Nikki Polhamus was selected on Feb. 22. McMahon led Army with a season-high four goals in a 12-9 loss to American on April 16. She netted three of those goals during the second half to lead a comeback charge that brought the Black Knights from five goals down to a one-goal deficit late in the second period.
