The Department of English and Philosophy hosted its final Teaching Practicum of the semester. Dr. Morton Ender from the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership hosted a discussion centered on his new book, The Millennial Generation and National Defense: Attitudes of Future Military and Civilian Leaders. While Op-eds about the millennial generation and evolving educational practices abound in major media publications, Dr. Ender offered analysis from diligently compiled longitudinal data that contextualizes generational attitudes beyond mere anecdotes. The discussion focused on sociological trends across generations in pursuit of continually challenging and improving the way we connect with this generation of students.
