Creative Writing Forum Attends the World Poetry Slam

On Thursday, March 10th, cadets from the Creative Writing Forum attended the preliminary rounds of the Women of the World Poetry Slam competition at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. The event is organized by Poetry Slam Incorporated and features acclaimed performance poet Mahoganey Brown as its event coordinator. They embraced the cadets, even allowing them to participate as judges! This inaugurated an enduring relationship between Poetry Slam Incorporated and the Creative Writing Forum.
