The Army Alpine Ski Team closed out on-snow training this past weekend with Directed Free-Ski at Killington (The Beast), VT. CDT Aryne Riley ’17 served his first duties as Team Captain with the help of classmate, CDT Patrick Kearney. CDT Blaise Paulo ’18 and CDTs Maddie Nelson, Sophia Grohs, Gavin Felch, Will Mueser and Jack Young (all class of ’19) had the opportunity to ski on challenging terrain and hone in on their technical skills on a beautiful crisp weekend in Central Vermont. Team camaraderie and spirit continues to develop as the Army Ski team looks forward to next season and the possibility of bringing a “freestyle” component under its wing.
