Triathlon Place First Overall at Triathlon Conference

The Army West Point Triathlon Team competed in the Northeast Collegiate Triathlon Conference swim meet at Bentley University over the weekend. Both the men and women teams placed first overall. Cadet Madison Jones came in first place in both the 500-yard freestyle and the 200-yard individual medley. Cadets Taylor RodenHuis and Meghan Jarrell won the 100-yard freestyle for their respective genders and placed in the top three for each event they participated in while Cadet Anna DeVries took the 50 yard freestyle with a comfortable margin of victory. Army also took the top three places in the 200 yard medley relay and the top two places in each of the non-standard kicking and “Tarzan” style relay events. Story
