The Army West Point Ski Patrol cadets took a trip to Jiminy and Butternut Ski Resorts in Pittsfield, MA. The focus of the trip was training out new patroller candidates on ski/snowboarding skills, and how to run a sled down the mountain weighted and unweighted. Patrollers actively patrolled each mountain and responded to approximately fifteen real world incidents on the mountain. This was a very successful trip, and the cadets had the chance to build relations with the West Massachusetts region.
