Indian Point Energy Center Trip

CPT Josh Molgaard took NE300 Fundamentals of Nuclear Engineering students to tour the nuclear power plant at Indian Point, Buchanan, NY. Cadets had an opportunity to see a commercial nuclear reactor in operation and gain a better understanding of what they’ve been taught in class and how it relates to the real world. The trip was very enlightening and rewarding, as it has been in previous semesters. We appreciate the support from Entergy (the company that owns and operates IPEC).
